We are about traveling, Discovering secret spots, camping trip up the coast with your best friends, BBQ's on the beach and sand between your toes. We are about finding what makes you happy.

Our Inspirations come from where we've been and what we've seen. Our brand logo is inspired by the turn off sign you might see along The N2 coastal highway in South Africa that has breaks like J-bay and Nahoon Reef along it. Nine times out of ten that sign means good surf. We want you to find yours. Our designs are inspired by spending our formative years in the 90's listening to Nirvana and The Pixies and spending too much time in the mosh pit!

Remember the days as a kid on the beach, “borrowing” fast food restaurant trays to catch the shore break at your local. Well we do, and that was what inspired us to create a line of hand boards/handplanes that are shaped and designed to shred and of course all importantly get shacked. Slyde is about creating an entirely new, innovative and design driven brand exclusively centered on Handboarding. We want to create a brand and subculture for a generation of body surfers. To all who just want to spend as much time in the water doing what we love to do, getting SHACKED! In the end That's what it's all about! If you could get in that much quicker and get a split second more green room time why the hell wouldn't you?
