Man-made wave simulates an ocean break!

So to carry on with the them of self made or man made waves from this mornings blog about the Waimea river break here is another concept in prototyping form. I remember seeing this a little while back with Jordy smith and a couple other Pro surfers taking it on and ripping it to shreds (hey Jordy is a "Durabnite" so what you expect hahahaha). At the moment it is a prototype as you can see but the concept can proove to be absolutley limitless. think about it for a second! You live in the middle of Idaho and you love to surf... BAM! install one in you back yard and you , your mates and a keg of bear are good to go!!!.... ok so that might be a bit far off but with a bit of imagination you can just see where this could end up and if you watch the clips of Jordy and the boys, its a pretty fun wave and looks perfect. I personally cannot wait to see what they have install when they say "shoulder High" that is going toi be soo sick!
