"With Body Surfing you don't take anything for granted! You ride the wave as far as you can, you don't kick out because the barrel stopped. You realize how much room there is out there, even with all the people." Kelly Slater

"We as a species are connected to the ocean. All living thing come from the ocean. Body Surfing is a chance to get back to your roots, It's the ability to feel the energy." Laird Hamilton

Glass Mosaic Surfboard Art!

Artist Donna Klipstein has transformed a tired old stick found in the garage of a friend,  giving what used  to be somebody's pride and joy a whole new lease on life!  From the dusty bowls of a storage spot rising again to a new life.  Standing proudly,  this time instead of shredding the waves of distant and far off places this ol' girl has now stands tall in  the garden where she will spend the rest of her days starring out over the beautiful Del mar beaches. Gazed upon and talked about in awe by all who pass. We think not a bad way to spend the rest of eternity. The process Donna used is as secret as its' mystical glow, but we know there is glass involved lots of it and one hell of a lot of elbow grease. We are not sure if Donna is taking orders to give your old board a new lease on life. However you can always contact us here at Slyde and we will be happy to pass on the request.
