2011 look book check it out!

Our Version of a brochure! All our design and art work is done right here at the Slyde HQ in a dumpy little garage off Rose avenue in Venice beach we call the "CAVE". Nothing is outsourced we do it all even our own printing. The locals here know us as the board guys and we have frequent stop offs from our favorite Fed-ex guys. Hawaiian expats super stoked on our boards. All the images in our Brochure are from various surf Trips around the world. If you look closely you might see the J-bay super tubes sign covered in tagged stickers. This is a shot I took on one of our many trips up the east coast of South Africa, Super Tubes wasn't firing that trip even if we did stay a week, but we had an awesome time riding what we could in an amazing place. If you haven't been book a ticket tomorrow you will only thank me. The J-Bay sign is Placed over an image of the Venice breakwater taken from a roof top of a Venice party we held a while back bringing together my two homes Venice and South Africa. Other images include the view out the front of our campervan onto an early 6am sunrise and a horizon of corduroy lines at Angouri, New South Wales, Aus. The subsequent session that ensued in one of the great surf spots of the world was truly epic. Also there are images of a hitchhiking trip through Mexico. We camped on a beach point break In Southern Baja for over a month, I'm guessing we got it good as 20 out of the 30 odd days we were there it was perfect! It just seemed normal at the time. Also it would not be remiss to mention one or two are taken from a late 99-2000 trip to Australia and Byron Bay. Byron is one of the best places you will be likely to visit and the surf is amazing and the town is just the same. In short This Brochure is not just a brochure to us it's a small snippet of who we are, what we have done and what we stand for. They are not just images we thought might look good, each of them have a story too long to write here but we hope you enjoy.
