Surfrider Beach clean up Saturday

Dockweiler Beach at Sunset

Image via Wikipedia

Hey all!
Hope everyone can make it to the Surfrider Volunteer Appreciation / Year End beach party event we are having in partnership with the South Bay chapter this coming Saturday, Dec 5th. In addition to BBQing S’Mores, conducting a Beach Cleanup, and awesome Raffle Prizes we will be hearing some good tunes and enjoying the company of fellow activists and ocean lovers.

Below is a message from our planning committee in search of volunteers to help man the tables and such throughout the day. See you at Dockweiller Beach!! 1st Annual Beach Party ::: Event Help Needed ::: Goal of 35 volunteers The Year End Beach Party hosted by Southbay and West LA / Malibu Beach Clean Up Program is seeking event volunteers to help out at our 1st Annual Beach Party at Dockweiler Beach.  See event here:  http://surfrideryearend2011.eventbrite.com

Why so many volunteers needed?  That’s where the irony falls.  Since this event is actually for you, our goal is to keep the time slots to just 1 hour so you have the other 4 to enjoy the day.
