"With Body Surfing you don't take anything for granted! You ride the wave as far as you can, you don't kick out because the barrel stopped. You realize how much room there is out there, even with all the people." Kelly Slater

"We as a species are connected to the ocean. All living thing come from the ocean. Body Surfing is a chance to get back to your roots, It's the ability to feel the energy." Laird Hamilton

Antenna Magazine and Slyde Handboards collaboration

Antenna-libtech-jamie-lynn

Antenna is hosting a 5 city art/music/fashion/film/culture festival with a gallery installation, performances, film premieres and panels celebrating the creators and thought leaders whose works are at the forefront of culture today.

The festival will be anchored by a gallery installation titled “Exhibits in Collaboration” which looks at the spirit of collaboration in the form of sharing and discovering new ideas, including a look at the collaborative process, the people who have defined the movement, and seminal works in the field.

Exhibits in Collaboration will live in print, digital, mobile, social media, video, events and collaborative works celebrating authentic innovators who have come to define the tastes, ideas and aesthetic of a generation.

We have 2-4 events planned per day ranging from gallery events to TED technology speakers, bands, DJs, film premieres, artist series and fashion shows .

The event will have very high media exposure through it’s corporate sponsor, Hyundai, who is creating a Youtube channel dedicated to streaming content as well as through media partners including Antenna, Wired, Filter, Vibe, Future Publishing, and YRB who will all be covering the events in book, online and through their social media, promotional and PR platforms.

The Re:mix Lab will premiere in New York from October 19th – 23rd and tour to Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas and Miami for Art Basel with 16-days of events across the cities.
