In fact, he's taken it so far that even long time big wave surfers have to squint to see how far ahead he's gotten. But, he's gotten there by being creative, by pushing the limits and - perhaps above all - by being totally prepared. He's trained with military special forces, he's learned to hold his breath underwater for more than 6 minutes, he's surfed 40 foot waves in the middle of the night and in doing so, he's developed into one of the most inspirational surfers on the planet. If Bear Grylls were a surfer... his name would be Mark Visser.
