Ghetto Juice: A sick Magazine Fall edition finally out!
Ghetto Juice is Finally out and keep an eye out for the Slyde handboards Half page!
The mag officially dropped Friday and over the course of the weekend and into today, the new Ghetto Juice is in ALL THE SHOPS, from Seal Beach to Lowers. And the response from shop employees is ALL TIME as usual... they are always so happy when they get a fresh hot stack of the latest issue! A heap of mags have also been shipped to the North Shore, in particular to some of the team houses and surf shops, and will get there before Pipe Masters and should have no problem creating some additional buzz....
Out now is Issue 10. And in classic form. As usual the look is clean and sexy, with an impressive cover and theme that calls out "Occupy This!" ... it's all about surfing, and the power of positive thinking....
Also in this issue is an exclusive Ghetto Juice Interview with Andrew Doheny.... we talk about his career, about surfing Pipe, and about what he likes to spend his paychecks on.... he took second in the Oakley World Pro Junior in Bali back in October, so it's pretty darn timely.... He's currently rated world #6 on the ASP World Pro Jr. Tour and 2012 is set to be his biggest year ever as the perennial super grom turns 20....
Tons of cool stuff to read, a little holiday gifteroo dealio, lots of great photos of surfers you've never seen, and three generations of Kelly Slater..... the 80s shot of Slates is all time and graces our masthead in the back....Sick Hank blows doors once again, and the Young Americans are Newport's Tyler Gunter, Costa Mesa's Meah Collins and San Clemente's Colton Ward....
In a nutshell, it's anothre sick issue and word on the streets is that it's even better than that.... and this wouldn't be possible without YOUR SUPPORT, and for that, Joe Mac and I thank you from the bottom of our next barrel.... Yeah it's been a ho hum fall around here surf wise, but with Ghetto Juice, everyting just seems better.....
