Alex Stapleton's Art in the Streets movie
Last night We went to the premier of Alex Stapleton's new movie about Graffiti and street art. I would suggest either seeing the film or going to the MOCA to see the exhibition. If you are a fan of art you will appreciate this.
“Art in the Streets,” has been living at MOCA since April 17. On May 24th, be privy to the making-of the first major U.S. exhibit on the history of graffiti and art. Now, Levi’s Film Workshop brings you a behind-the-scenes look at the exhibition that includes some of our favorite Latino grafiteros. Directed by Alex Stapleton, this film gives you a chance to overindulge in Lee Quiñones, Os Gemeos, Mister Cartoon, Chaz Bojórquez, and Banksy (our honorary Latino grafitero). Think what you may about the street art-art galleries eternal feud, you may want to check this film out.Posted on
