Sacred Craft Press Release!!
PREMIUM & PERSONAL BOARDS DISPLAYED IN THE SOUL PROJECT QUIVERS LOUNGEBird Huffman & Surfing Heritage Foundation offer unique selections from their
deep surfboard collectionsEncinitas, Ca., (September 20, 2011) -- San Diego's Bird Huffman and Southern
California's Surfing Heritage Foundation will both be displaying a premium
selection from their respective and extensive surfboard collections at the
Sacred Craft Consumer Surfboard Expo. Each of the boards within The SOUL
Project Quivers Lounge will have an informational card providing insight into
the boards provenance and/or story. The SOUL Project Quivers Lounge is a place
to chill, breath deeply and perhaps enjoy a cold Primo beer whilst taking in
the two separate and select quivers."Bird (Huffman) and his quiver are both legendary in San Diego. He's the first
person I went to with this concept, and in classic Bird form, he agreed
graciously to select a few gems from his quiver, " said Scott Bass, Sacred
Craft Expo Director. "The Surfing Heritage Foundation has the greatest
selection of surfboards in the world, we're honored to have a few of their
premium selections on display as well. The boards on display at The SOUL
Project Quivers Lounge is a thin cross section of what Bird and the Surfing
Heritage Foundation can offer visitors to their respective locales. I urge all
surfboard lovers to check out the complete display of boards at Bird's Surf
Shed and the Surfing Heritage Foundation""We're honored to have the opportunity to be part of this great event," said
Don Meek, one of the founders of The SOUL Project. "The boards that will be on
display at The SOUL Project Quivers Lounge are some of the most important
surfboards ever made, and each one has a wonderful story to tell."In addition to getting a chance to see these historic surfboards, The SOUL
Project will also be unveiling its full launch line of tees, hats, hoodies and
accessories as well as the official Sacred Craft/The Soul Project co-branded
tee. a
