Slyde Helps Out Santa Barbara City College Swim Team Fundraiser

While most college athletic programs are cutting their swim teams due to their dwindling budgets, Santa Barbara City College is adding one!  The new Santa Barbara City College Women's Swim Team held a swim meet fundraiser at the San Marcos High School pool.

There were a lot of awesome prizes for the raffle participants, including Billabong products, tickets to the opera and wine tasting tours.  The team raised over $1500, and Slyde helped out by donating a beautiful Woody Macassar Handboard for the raffle.  

Congratulations to Santa Barbara City College Women's Assistant Coach Becky Vossler for nabbing the Woody Macassar!  Looks like the team is going to be having a lot more practices at the beach!
