These are the guys that make it happen! Individually chosen for their specific talents in full length surfboard shaping these guys have already earned their stripes in the surf community. To anybody from their respective home towns and in some cases further will know these guys are synonymous with quality and perfection in surfboard shaping and now hopefully in handboard/handplane shaping. In short they are respected and good at what they do!
I have like most part time surfers been tinkering with shaping my own boards and playing with off cuts to make hand guns since I can remember. It stands to reason that I have a hands on in the whole process of the initial Handboard/handplane shaping. After we have tested and settled on a particular shape we like and what works best. I then do the rough shaping of the foam.
