Wine, Waves & Beyond: Longboard Surf Classic

Check out the Central Coast's Wine, Waves & Beyond Festival May 31st to June 4th, 2012.

They open on Thursday with movie night! It will be a special screening of the classic bodysurfing film "Come Hell or High Water" along with an appearance by Director Keith Malloy.  Check out the movie trailer here.

On Friday, there will be the "Barrel to Barrel" Wine & Beer Tasting and Saturday includes a day trip to wineries as well as a “Brewmaster's Dinner”.  The Longboard Surf Contest will be Sunday, followed by a BBQ and live music.

The event celebrates the best of San Luis Obispo County. Combining the fun, laid back atmosphere of wine country and unique surf culture.  Enjoy four days of unforgettable events evoking the magic of wine and waves. These events take place at numerous scenic venues throughout San Luis Obispo County. All proceeds go to support the Association of Amputee Surfers (AmpSurf). WW&B was able to raise $10,000 for AmpSurf in its first year, and continues to help support this amazing organization.
