Man do we get some looks when we head down the beach with our boards and this little Grom Soft Top along with! I'd recommend one of these plus a set of fins to any regular beach goer; no surfing or body surfing experience is required! This is my first hand plane/board, and i love being able to grab a small bag with my fins and hand board and head to the beach not even thinking about what the waves look like. These are perfect to have on hand for those close-out shore break days and trashy wind swell conditions when it's just not worth it to drag a surf board out to the beach.

Bula Barrels And Sick Fins

Just surfed my Bula and fins for the first time in Cocoa Beach cooking freak 3.5m 16 sec swell . Was so awesome taking these out in super crowded line up instead of my shortboard or SUP . I got to sit on a shallow barrelling peak all by myself and got high wave count and decent amount of close out barrels. So easy surfing with the Bula , small and convenient and catches easily and the fins are uber powerful too. I am hooked on handplane bodysurfing and combo of the Bula and these fins help me out.

Great board

I've used my Racketeer Wedge on small to mid size waves. I am impressed with the ease it provides to catch even the smallest of waves and how far it allows me to get out in front of the biggest. These things are fun and extend rides like you wouldn't believe. I put it in a backpack with a set of fins and take them when I go for a surf. When I get tired of the board, I switch things up with the hand plane. Great tool and easily brought along on any day.

Great beginner board

I am using this to do bodysurfing in the LA area. It will help you catch more waves and move better. Works well for both small and medium waves. The board is nicely constructed and safe to use with little risk of losing it once you strap it.
