First time trying a bula shaped board and felt fairly large at first as I’ve owned many smaller sized handplanes. Don’t let its size fool you into thinking it will be awkward in the barrels- this thing slices through shorebreak and it just feels like your hand is strapped to a rocket! The strap is very durable and I have had no worries about losing it even in large close outs in sucking shorebreak. Despite being very snug, it was not difficult to do quick switch ups between hands. Overall construction and finish has held up since I bought it and it still looks brand new. The unique shape helps with managing even the latest drops and it just keeps asking for more. You’re not gunna want to leave the water after this!
