Ventura Bodysurfing Classic Recap Winter 2018

The Ventura Bodysurfing Classic held on Dec 1st 2018 delivered big waves of FUN.

South Jetty Swells and the Ford Family hosted the Epic day.

Special shout outs to Slyde's Team Riders Spencer, Sunny, Makena, and Josh representing on the West Coast.

13 year old ocean photographer @Swimfinnphoto shared the following highlights from the day:
"I really liked shooting footage of the groms division, definitely one of my favorites. All the little kids were smiling and having a blast. I also liked how friendly and cool everyone there was and treated me, considering I'm still a kid.  I really enjoyed watching some of the older guys/legends bodysurfing. They had a very unique style and took off on every wave."

"For me the highlights of the day were Vince on commentary, keeping us entertained. Josh Ball in the water taking pics of us. The waves were BIG. After party at Spencer's beautiful ranch. And just seeing all of our beautiful & awesome bodysurfing friends"

Bodysurfing Grand Champion Makena's highlights:
"Seeing the stoke of everyone on the beach, competitors and non competitors alike. Being able to get out in the water with some of the best men & woman, andthe conditions mother nature blessed us with."
